Archambault stated that expanding the studio is a need in the Hub City (Aberdeen, SD) the newly opened studio allows our clients to fly into Aberdeen airport as well as the surrounding states a closer travel time along with hotel convenance. Lawrence stated that the Aberdeen Downtown Association, along with the Chamber of Commerce greeted Grey Willow with open arms, we are very excited to open this space and both studios serve different needs in our recording needs. the Standing Rock Location (Located on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation, Fort Yates, ND) handles the ADR needs Grey Willow - Aberdeen handles touring artists along with foley needs for our industry.

A Conversation with Marvel Studios’ ‘The Avengers’ Lakota Language Dub Team

Last year, Marvel Studios released its very first Lakota Language project with the dubbing of Marvel Studios’ The Avengers. The project took over 15 months and involved 62 Lakota-Dakota language speakers, as well as the original Avengers team, to help reintroduce and promote the Lakota language.
To help celebrate the power of our voices, the Marvel’s Voices team had a chance to chat with some of the people who worked on this incredible project.
